Pumpkin Patch!

The kids were DYING to go to a Pumpkin Patch this fall. They didn't want to get pumpkins from the local grocery store or Walmart. Well, being that we are in Florida, we weren't sure where the closest Pumpkin Patch might be or how decent it would be. So, I did some quick research on the internet (What DID we do before the internet?) and found that there are several within a 2 or 3 hour drive from our house. Some were simple, pick your own pumpkin places, and some were all out Fall FUN - corn mazes, pumpkins, apple name it! We chose Seward Farms (, which was just under 2 hours from our house. We thought that it might be nice to make a day trip out of it! The kids had so much fun! Here are a few of the things we did: Slid down PVC Slides, Rode Cow Trains, Cheered at the Pig Races, Solved the Corn Maze, Played in the grass, Picked Wildflowers, Rode on the Hayride...

And some of us even found long lost relatives!
(HA!) We ended up spending a number of hours at the Pumpkin Patch and really enjoyed the weather that we had for the day! It was so much fun!
